Christmas...yes it feels so long ago, I spent the Christmas seasons with my in-laws, my sister in law and her husband. Nothing special really just a lovely time with the family and lots to eat. I have had some lovely presents:
I am very pleased as I also received some knitting related presents:
a Sunflower Yarn Swift and the Folk Socks book by Nancy Bush from Nick and the Stitch 'n Bitch Calendar from Jo & Dave
I was also very lucky to receive the final package from my secret pal Morag, I received it just few days before Christmas but I opened it on Christmas day and what a lovely package it was.
Very kindly she sent me 2 skeins of Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk DK in the most gourgeous red, very soft I am thinking of either a scarf or some gloves, 2 skeins of Lana Grossa Basics hp No.31 - 100% Cotton in my favourite shade of pink, 2 skeins of Angels & Elephants - British Shetland, a pink candle, a bookmark with Carnelian stones (I didn't know but Carnelian is linked to energy, motivation & vitality. It can also be used in any situation which requires creativity & concentration) and a vintage pattern by Robin which I will definetely knit! Thank you so much Morag, I love everything and please let me know your blog address as unfortunately I couldn't read it properly in your card.

That purple variegated yarn looks lovely!
What wonderful goodies....Hold tight to the stones. They will help, even if it is only subconcious.
